Stage 10 · Remote Job Boards — every real site to apply

Freelancing isn’t the only way to earn online. A remote job gives you salary stability while you build skills (and you can freelance on the side if your contract allows). Every board below is real and active — verified August 2026.

🌐 The big general boards

Board What it is Tip
LinkedIn The biggest job market on earth — filter Remote 80% of results come from your profile being findable, not from applying. Optimize headline + skills first
Indeed Volume aggregator Use exact-phrase searches (“QA automation” remote)
Glassdoor Jobs + salary data Research pay before every interview
Wellfound Startup jobs (ex-AngelList Talent) Startups hire globally more often; equity offers are real here
Welcome to the Jungle Tech/product roles (ex-Otta) Curated matches, strong for EU/US tech

How people actually get hired remotely (the uncomfortable truth)

  1. Referrals beat applications. One warm intro ≈ 100 cold applications. Build in public: share what you build/test/design on LinkedIn weekly.
  2. Your profile is the funnel. Recruiters search LinkedIn with the same keywords you’d put in a job search — put your exact stack in your headline (“QA Automation Engineer · Playwright · API Testing”).
  3. Apply fast and narrow. The first 24–48 hours of a posting get the reads. 10 tailored applications beat 100 blast ones.
  4. Interview prep is a skill — practice it like one. Watch real hiring calls in the free AZADEMY interview course, and go through Client Interviews — the same psychology applies to job interviews.
  5. Beware fake “jobs”. Real employers never ask you to pay for equipment/training, never pay via gift cards, and never interview only over text chat. Full scam list in Stage 11.
